It began on August 4, 2021, and will conclude with the Final on June 7-11, 2023, at The Oval in London, between Australia and India. The game is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. local time in London.

The champions of the ICC World Test Championship 2023 Final will receive an impressive prize of $1.6 million, while the second-place team will be awarded $800,000. The tournament prize money remains unchanged from the inaugural edition of the championship (2019-21), with a total fund of $3.8 million available.
