Name of post: Dental Surgeon

Pay: PB-4: 30000 - 110000/- + GP of Rs.12700/- pm and other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Age : A candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age, as on 01101/2018. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved category as per existing provision.
Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification is BDS Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI) and Registered Dentist of Assam Stale Dental Council.
Process of Recruitment: Viva-voce /Interview will be held for selecting the candidates for the post of Dental Surgeon

If applications are received in large numbers, the Board may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms of advertisement.

By holding, Screening test (Multiple choice objective type written examination) which will be notified in due course of time.
Weightage: Weightage will be given to candidates who are already rendering services In Health & FW Department under Regulation 3(f) of APSC (L&F) Regulation 1951 and on contractual basis under Government organization. Those who are working under Government organization, should apply through proper channel.
Application Fee:
i. Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) only for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidate.
ii. No application fee is required for candidates having BPL certificate and PWD certificate. Application fee should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account "0210-Medical and Public Health-IA-Urban Health Services-S00-Other Receipt". The fees are not refundable and no other mode of deposit of fee other than through Treasury Challan shall be accepted.
How to apply: Online application will be received till 14/01/2019. Applicants have to produce the original testimonials including the copy of original Treasury Challan along with the downloaded applications. during he time of interview, schedule of which will be published in the website https://nhm.assam.gov.in, in due course of time.
