Sir/Mam, at the start of my career it was the job itself that was important. Then I realised I could not live the life I wanted on that salary. So I made sacrifices and upskilled to make more money. Once I got to the level I needed I moved to a job that I enjoyed more but at the salary I could live comfortably on.
Then I went through another round of this and went on to work and make even more money. This then led to a job where I got both at once.
I believe, Career development and personal development are both equally important and not mutually exclusive.
