Oxfam urges radical economic rejig for post-COVID world
Oxfam International recently warned that the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic will lead to the biggest increase in global inequality on record unless governments radically rejig their economies.

- The name “Oxfam” comes from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief. It was founded in Britain in 1942 during the Second World War. During the world war, the group campaigned for food supplies to starving women and children in Greece.
