For the 2023 (2022 Dec Cycle) UGC-NET exam, the responsibility of conducting the test in 83 subjects has been given to the National Testing Agency (NTA). The purpose of this exam is to assess the eligibility of students to become "Assistant Professors" and "Junior Research Fellowship" (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. To prepare for the exam, it is essential for candidates to go through the UGC NET revised syllabus, which includes two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II) consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). All questions in both papers are compulsory, and candidates must complete the exam within three hours.
