‘2nd World Conference on Access to Medical Products - Achieving the SDGs
2030’ was inaugurated on 9 October 2018 in New Delhi. The conference was organized by
the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare with the support of the World Health Organization.
The main objective of the 2nd World Conference 2018 is to take forward the
recommendations from the 1st World Conference 2017.
According to the 2018 Henley Passport Index, The Japanese passport is now the
strongest in the world. Japanese citizens can travel without a visa or gain a visa on arrival
in 190 destinations. The Singapore passport, which allows travel to 189 destinations
without a prior visa, is at second rank. Germany, South Korea and France are placed at
third rank.

China successfully launched two remote sensing satellites to conduct
electromagnetic environmental probes. The satellites, both belonging to the Yaogan-32
family, were launched by a Long March-2C rocket. Remote sensing generally refers to the
use of sensor technologies to detect objects. The remote sensing satellites collect data by
detecting the energy reflected from the Earth.
